I think clip episodes are actually when the production runs out of money so they force the writers to make something very cheap. Usually at the end of a season.

There’s usually a large chasm between the good episodes and the low quality of a clip episodes, rather than a gradual decline.

I’m working on the demo now and was thinking of a few channels that might synergise with it. Just need to get done ready before the cash runs out now.

Once the playable slice is out I was considering putting it straight on steam early access but it would be super early and I don’t know if that is wasting the soft release impact. I know steam give you some free promo. Can always just host a download myself though.

Google play early access is extremely difficult to understand. Can’t even get ap to appear for testers who have signed up and agreed to test, it’s crazy.

I hate ads but I’m now having to consider running ads for a Kickstarter campaign and don’t know how to feel.

Failing that, the game will need to be ad-supported. Even worse.

Even cutting down on everything life is too expensive to make much without caving somewhere.

I just hope I can make them unobtrusive and short and cause as little disturbance as possible.

OpenAI is private so not as easy to value.

But… Microsoft owns a bunch of OpenAI so one may well bring the other. (And Microsoft reports gives us a partial insight into how OpenAI is doing)

What makes it worse for me is there was an old channel 4 advert that kad clips from lots of movies and the names of the movies in the current roster.

I thought the names matched the clips… and requiem for a dream appeared alongside a film I’ve not actually identified with a guy shooting over a limo saying something like “death to some thing something and bad cinema”

So a few years later I finally sit down to watch requiem for a dream expecting some weird Hollywood critic (or something)

Kept waiting for that scene until things got really dark and then kind of knew something was amiss.

On the upside: no heroine for me thanks
