Yeah, I try to tell them that very few of them are true “terrorists”. Many of the people who were suicide bombers were coerced by terrorists with threats against their families, or promised money to their family upon completion. I tell them how good most of the people were and would offer food to us from their own lunch, even knowing we had free food from the US govt. Many wanted to know more about America, and loved the music and movies.

Some of those people visibly softened their stance. Others would just “yeah but” to no end. Like dude, I was there. I experienced it. Those fox news people?
