    It makes sense that ai bros think ai is conscious and intelligent because it’s literally as conscious and intelligent as the ai bros

      I think this is true for anyone who thinks LLMs are already AGI. Clearly their use case and mental capabilities are unable to see the obvious deficiencies.

      You also need to consider that they really want it to be true. Either because of financial investment, or a believ that AGI will bring about paradise. I don’t know why AI doomers believe LLMs will lead to AGI, thought, as they should be relieved that we’re not close to AGI, though.
